In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.
This post, I would like to share with you, it's my first time to see the Hawaii volcano on Youtube. It's amazing and surprised me. It's the video from CBS This Morning.
Earth's volcanoes occur because its crust is broken into 17 major, rigid tectonic plates that float on a hotter, softer layer in its mantle.[1]Therefore, on Earth, volcanoes are generally found where tectonic plates are diverging or converging, and most are found underwater. For example, a mid-oceanic ridge, such as the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, has volcanoes caused by divergent tectonic plates whereas the Pacific Ring of Fire has volcanoes caused by convergent tectonic plates. Volcanoes can also form where there is stretching and thinning of the crust's plates, e.g., in the East African Rift and the Wells Gray-Clearwater volcanic field and Rio Grande Rift in North America. This type of volcanism falls under the umbrella of "plate hypothesis" volcanism.[2] Volcanism away from plate boundaries has also been explained as mantle plumes. These so-called "hotspots", for example Hawaii, are postulated to arise from upwelling diapirs with magma from the core–mantle boundary, 3,000 km deep in the Earth. Volcanoes are usually not created where two tectonic plates slide past one another.
Erupting volcanoes can pose many hazards, not only in the immediate vicinity of the eruption. One such hazard is that volcanic ash can be a threat to aircraft, in particular those with jet engines where ash particles can be melted by the high operating temperature; the melted particles then adhere to the turbine blades and alter their shape, disrupting the operation of the turbine. Large eruptions can affect temperature as ash and droplets of sulfuric acid obscure the sun and cool the Earth's lower atmosphere (or troposphere); however, they also absorb heat radiated from the Earth, thereby warming the upper atmosphere (or stratosphere). Historically, volcanic winters have caused catastrophic famines.
OK, now let's watch the Hawaii volcano from above with the video below:
Spectacular and sobering view of Hawaii volcano from above
Wow! This post, I want to share with you about the first communications satellite of Bangladesh that was launched to the space on 11 May 2018.
Read more below....
Watch Video of the First Bangladeshi Satellite - Bangabandhu-1 launched on May 11, 2018
Video: Bangabandhu Satellite-1 Mission
Video description: SpaceX is targeting launch of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 on Friday, May 11 from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The two-hour launch window opens at 4:14 p.m. EDT or 20:14 UTC. A backup launch window opens on Saturday, May 12 at 4:15 p.m. EDT or 20:15 UTC.
Bangabandhu Satellite-1 will be deployed into a geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) approximately 33 minutes after launch.
The Bangabandhu Satellite-1 mission will be the first to utilize Falcon 9 Block 5, the final substantial upgrade to SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launch vehicle. Falcon 9 Block 5 is designed to be capable of 10 or more flights with very limited refurbishment as SpaceX continues to strive for rapid reusability and extremely high reliability.
Following stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to land Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
Wikipedia: The Bangabandhu-1 (BD-1) is the first Bangladeshi geostationary communications satellite. It was launched on May 11, 2018.[1] The project is being implemented by Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) and was the first payload launched by a Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket.[3]
The Bangabandhu-1 satellite was initially planned to be launched on an Ariane 5 rocket on December 17, 2017, to celebrate Victory day of Bangladesh. Following the lack of firm guarantee from Arianespace for that date, BTRC chose Falcon 9 launch vehicle instead.[4] The satellite is expected to be located at the 119.1° East longitude geostationary slot. It is named after the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It is designed and manufactured by Thales Alenia Space and its launch provider is SpaceX. The total cost of the satellite was projected to be 248 million US dollars in 2015 (Tk 19.51 billion), financed via a $188.7 million loan from HSBC Holdings plc[5]. Bangabandhu Satellite-1 carries a total of 40 Ku-band and C-band transponders with a capacity of 1600 megahertz and a predicted life span to exceed 15 years.[6][7][8][9] The satellite will expand Ku-band coverage over all of Bangladesh and its nearby waters including the Bay of Bengal, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Indonesia. This is coupled with C-band coverage for all aforementioned areas.
Bangabandhu Satellite-1 was launched at 20:14 UTC on May 11, 2018,[1] on a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle.[2] It is the first payload to be launched using the new Block 5 model of the rocket.[10][11]
The satellite was originally slated to launch May 10, 2018. However, the rocket carrying the payload triggered an automatic abort as it entered internal power and control at T-58 seconds. Soon after, the rocket launch was pushed back 24 hours, and it was finally launched on May 11, 2018.[12]
Bangabandhu-1 had been previously scheduled to fly on an Arianespace Ariane 5 ECA but Ariane was unable to meet the contractual launch date, which enabled the launch to be switched to its backup launcher, SpaceX.[13]
After launching the satellite, Bangladesh began to receive test signal from it on May 12, 2018. A ground station has been built in Bangladesh to control the satellite at Gazipur. A backup ground station also built in Rangamati.[14]
Why Anger can destroy the word?
What is the anger?
Before I describe about anger can destroy the world. You should understand the meaning of anger, destroy and the world.
Anger is what I can say that is the action of being angry. If you are angry, that means you have anger.
Destroy is the verb that has the noun of destruction, leading to damage of something.
World here in the article is referred to the globe, the universe, the place where people, animals, forest and other unknown things or live stay or living in.
Well, now I should explain about the phrase: Anger can destroy the world.
Why Anger can destroy the world.
Talk about a person: If a simple or normal person (A party) has anger or is angry with someone (B party). That person A may do bad things on B. Or A can make B any destruction because of A's anger. For example: A can fight B, A can destroy B's properties or each other. Moreover, A and B, because of the anger, can lead to kill each other.
Talk about animals, also similar to the person A and B above, if two animals are angry with each other. They can attack or destroy each other, and also leading to kill each other.
Talk about world leaders of countries: A country leader is more special, more important than a simple person. A leader is a person who lead a group of people, lead or control a country where people or live living in. So, if a country leader got angry, their anger can destroy everything in their country. Moreover, if two countries leaders or many countries leaders got angry with each other, so they may make war by destroying each other. For example: If North Korea is angry with South Korea, USA is angry with North Korea, Russia is angry with USA or other countries in the world are angry each other. So, those countries can make world war like World War I, World War II or will be World War III or World War IV....So, they destroy each other by using their weapons such as nuclear, missile or other weapons to attack each other. That make the world got destroyed.
What do you think with my idea about? Please leave comment or share you idea in the section comment below about Anger can destroy the world.
Thank you for reading.
Have a nice day.
Good luck!
China has new rules that require people to use their real names when registering for Internet services. The rules also require Internet companies operating in China to remove material said to be objectionable.
Chinese lawmakers approved the measures on December 28th, at the end of a five-day meeting of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The new rules say network service providers must "strengthen management of information released by users." The providers have been ordered to stop the spread of banned information, and to deal with the problem. The Xinhua news agency says those steps include removing the information from the Internet and reporting it to the government.
Chinese officials say the rules are aimed at protecting the personal information and stopping abuses like junk e-mail. But, critics say real-name registration will discourage individuals from reporting corruption and official abuses because they are afraid of possible action against them. The new Internet regulations go into effect as the Chinese government campaigns against virtual private networks, or VPNs. Some reports say the government is increasing its effort to block VPNs. Duncan Clark is an adviser to Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He says there is often an increase in Internet censorship during sensitive events like the recent 18th Communist Party Congress, which named China's new leaders. He said these periods are normally followed by reduced enforcement. But this time, he said, it is unclear if that will be the case with the new leadership.
